Copyright
  1. The Client owns copyright to, or has gained permission to use, all images and content supplied for this project.  The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd against any and all claims, costs and expenses due to materials included in the designs at the request of the Client for which no copyright permission or privacy release was requested.
  1. Copyright notice for the final project shall appear in the name of the Client, if requested as follows:

        Other copyright notices, such as photographs,  illustration and music will be included as          required.

  1. Copyright to the finished website design created by Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd is owned by Ncorp Web Studio.  The Client is granted rights to use the design as a website only.  (Copyright in Australia is automatically assigned to the originator)

 

Grant of rights
  1. Upon receipt of full payment, Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd grants the Client right s to use the finished project as intended.  The finished project does not include original artwork such as sketches, conceptual designs, individual file components or any other materials created in the process of making the designs by Ncorp Web Studio Pty Ltd.  The Client may however, purchase these additional items for a negotiated price.
  1. Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd retains the right to make portfolio use of the design or parts thereof.  All rights not expressly granted shall not be reserved by Ncorp Web Studio Pty Ltd.

Credit

  1. Unless otherwise agreed, Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd shall be accorded a credit line on all HTML pages within a website, to read as follows:  Website design by: www.ncorp.com.au
  1. If the Client alters the design, Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd shall have the right to have the credit line remove from the material.

 

Asset delivery
The Client is required to supply all assets by or before STAGE2 is complete.  Assets must be supplied in final form, please ensure that these assets are proof read and edited prior to delivery.  Assets are to be delivered in electronic form only.  If text is supplied in print form, extra charges will incur for the reproduction of this information.  If images are supplied in print form, extra charges will incur for the scanning of such images.

Meta tags

Meta tags refer to the website “description” and “keywords” that help rank your website in search engines.  The description must be supplied in sentence form and a list of 10-20 keywords is to be supplied via email.  These meta tags are set up during Stage 2 on a one-time basis therefore must be finalized prior to the stage.

Proofs & approvals

A total of three proofs for each stage are included in the quote for Client approval.  Any changes thereafter will incur further costs charged at $120 per hour with a minimum half-hour charge.  Substantial changes can be made only upon approval of an additional quote.

There are a number of stages a project will go through before the final has been reached:

STAGE 1: Design Process
STAGE 2: Prototype – HTML page development & navigational setup*
STAGE 3: Content placement

* Upon Client’s approval of STAGE: 2 and receipt of the necessary assets from the Client, Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd will create a fully functional website.

If the assets provided by the Client cause the website to exceed the page agreed to, the due date & fee specified will  be revised.

Accessibility testing

Tests are carried out to ensure that the website will work on multiple browsers and platforms. All works confirm to W3C standards to ensure a high-level of user accessibility. Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd develop’s  websites that are accessible to all visitors without sacrificing quality, design, content & functionality.

Search engine ranking

Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd will endeavor to create a website that includes all current standards required for optimal search engine results but does not guarantee high ranking in search engines at any time. If the Client requires a guarantee of top ranking results, there are “Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)” services available that charge for this specialist service.

Please note, that Ncorp Web Studios will not be held responsible for search engine ranking result if the client assigns Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd to create a web page entirely from animated Flash.

The following is a brief overview of only some of the techniques used to optimize a website for search engine rankings:
Specific page titles,  page description, website keywords, page file names, site map option, non-frame designs.

Preferred suppliers

Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd has preferred suppliers of Domain Name Registration & Hosting services.
If you require Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd to use different suppliers, there may be extra charges incurred due to different methods of implementing such services.

Payment

  1. A deposit of 25% of the total is required to begin work on the project.
  2. A further 25% of the total is required upon approval of STAGE 1: Design process.
  3. Balance of the invoice is required on completion of project.
  4. Accepted payment method is by cheque and made payable to: Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd.
  5. The project remains the property of Ncorp Web Studios until the balance has been cleared.
  6. Overdue accounts will incur an extra 5% of the balance due per month after the due date.

Refunds
All refunds are made to client by cheque and refunds are made in Australian Dollors.

Cancellation
In the even of cancellation by the Client, Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd shall own all rights to designs. The client shall pay all expenses incurred by Ncorp web studio Pty Ltd as well as fees based on the degree completion of project. Cancellation during STAGE 1 will be 10% of the total & Cancellation during STAGE 2 & 3 will be 50% of the total. Deposits are non-refundable.
